About

Join us for a live staging of interdisciplinary work which will unfold across the Gallery, inviting you to explore the collection and spaces in new ways.

Led by artist Hannah Cushion, students from BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins have been working in direct response to our historic paintings and galleries, exploring connections to space, context and audience through the creation of situation specific live artworks.

Audiences will be encouraged to think about the function of a collection, which is able to pose and frame conversations about objects, images, and ideas, as well as the National Gallery as a place to contemplate, relate to and enjoy art.

A full programme of interventions will take place across the Gallery on the night. What will you discover?
