Leicester Museum & Art Gallery is a world of discovery with collections and displays spanning the natural and cultural world.
A family-friendly day out, the galleries include Ancient Egypt, Dinosaurs, Wild Space, Leicester Stories Gallery, the Victorian Art Gallery, Arts and Crafts Gallery, Picasso Ceramics: The Attenborough Collection, and Leicester's internationally renowned German Expressionism collection.
It was formerly known as New Walk Museum.
Renoir, 'The Umbrellas'
Renoir’s 'Umbrellas' will be the centrepiece of an in-focus gallery, alongside a digital installation using sound and animation to bring the artwork to life.
The installation will take the viewer on a visual journey through the bustling streets of 1880s Paris, exploring sound and movement.
