Imaginative play
About
Explore designs by undergraduate students from Northbrook College, part of the Chichester College Group who are studying BA (Hons) degrees in prop making, costume design, textile design, photography and fine art.
We invite you to play and create new connections to our paintings through the students' response to the National Gallery.
This holiday, help us test new ideas and materials as part of an ongoing project with artists, children and community groups. These collaborations will shape new resources and activities for families in our new Centre for Creative Learning.
Find out more about these exciting new spaces and other NG200 projects.
About the artists
The students at Northbrook College study a range of disciplines: fine art, prop making, textile design, photography, and costume design, where they have the opportunity to work on industry projects before graduation. The National Gallery’s new Centre for Creative Learning supports them in collaborating across departments as they develop their creativity in designing for a cultural space. Students at Northbrook College influence not only the courses they are studying by embedding initiatives like sustainability and community responsibility, but in engaging with companies directly to shape and define the future of the arts.
